Cyclone Bulbul Disaster Relief Project

People all over the world are aware of the destroyer cyclone Bulbul and the mass destruction it has caused in the Sundarbans and the adjoining coastal areas.
We, the members of Hat Baralei Bondhu had gone to survey the
Sundarbans and surrounding areas & villages which are badly affected by the cyclone Bulbul. The present circumstance is that the poor villagers and all survivors of affected areas are homeless & foodless. They have lost their homes, clothes and all belongings. They need blankets, mosquito nets, shawls, sweaters, saris and children’s dresses as well as dry food such as rice, muri, cheera, biscuits etc.
We have already supplied food and clothes at the Sundarban areas but that was very little as compared to the necessity. Our upcoming programme will be on 15th December’2019, at Frezergunj area where the condition is worse. The crops and natural vegetation are destroyed and the mass destruction will take years to overcome and we have to visit them frequently to provide help.
It is our social responsibility that being human, we must be there beside these ill-fated people to save them from the bitter cold and give them a little food.
We, on behalf of Hat Baralei Bondhu, earnestly request generous friends all over the world to donate for blankets, mosquito nets and dry food, which will be of great help to serve the unprivileged people.
Some photos of the Bulbul affected areas and victims are given. Just have a look at them. Hope these photos will be able to make you feel the disaster, the pain of the survivors and act accordingly. Awaiting your response.
The world has given us so much, why not give it a bit in return?
